Mr S contacted The Plumbing Group Limited as his PulsaCoil 3 wasn’t working. He was no longer receiving hot water as he should be. An engineer went out to the property at the earliest available appointment to take a look at the boiler. Once he had carried out a full inspection, he found that the pump and the domestic hot water sensor had failed.
In order to fix this, then engineer firstly had to drain down the PulsaCoil 3. He was then able to replace the faulty pump and the domestic hot water sensor with new ones. The system was then refilled. Once this was complete, the engineer then carried out further tests to make sure that everything was working as it should be.
All of our engineers carry any spares or parts that they may need with them on their vehicle. This meant that he was able to complete the repair on the same visit. The engineer managed to complete the job within three hours and to a high standard. Mr S was then able to use the on peak boost to get hot water two hours later.
Our engineer found this job a bit of a challenge. The pump was located at the back of the cupboard and was therefore hard to access. However, he still managed to repair the unit and Mr S was extremely happy. He had previously been told he would have to replace his boiler and was relieved when the engineer repaired it.
