Miss A contacted The Plumbing Group Ltd when she realised that her PulsaCoil 3 was not working properly. She was no longer getting sufficient hot water. An engineer went out to her property at the earliest available appointment to take a look at the boiler. Upon arrival, the engineer carried out a number of tests. He found that the off peak immersion had failed.
In order to fix this, firstly the engineer had to drain down the entire unit. Once this had been done he was then able to remove and replace the old immersion. The boiler was then refilled. All of our engineers carry any spares and parts that they may need with them on their vehicles. This meant that they were able to complete the repair then and there. The repair was carried out on the same visit in under three hours. Miss A was then able to use the on peak boost to get hot water three hours later.
Miss A was happy that she didn’t require a new boiler, she has however stated that she will now save for a new boiler and get the PulsaCoil 3 replaced as soon as she can afford it.
