Metro Court, HP6 5AZ, PulsaCoil A-Class Replacement Case Study
Mr L called The Plumbing Group Limited when he began experiencing trouble with his PulsaCoil A Class. It was no longer heating up as it should be. An engineer was sent out to the property to take a look at the boiler. It was quickly found that the cylinder was split and leaking and therefore beyond economical repair. As a result of this the whole unit needed to be replaced. The engineer was able to do a temporary fix for the customer however. This meant that Mr L had access to some hot water while he waited for his new boiler to be installed.
Mr L decided to go for the Fabdec ThermaCoil instead of the PulsaCoil PCS as his replacement option. The ThermaCoil is the replacement option we would recommend. This is because it is a far simpler system. The ThermaCoil runs off of a single mechanical blending valve while the PulsaCoil contains many more parts. For example in the PulsaCoil you would expect to see parts such as a Printed Circuit Board, a Pump, Sensors and Relays. For the user of the system it is no different but for long term maintenance it is much simpler.
The installation was carried out in under four hours and the old unit was removed and ethically disposed of.
The new ThermaCoil comes with a 10 Year Manufacturers cylinder warranty, for further details visit www.thermacoil.co.uk
