Kennington Road, SE11 6HR, PulsaCoil A-Class Replacement Case Study
Mrs W called The Plumbing Group Limited when she discovered that her unit was no longer heating up. An engineer headed out to the property to take a look at the boiler. Once they had arrived and completed a thorough inspection of the boiler, it was clear that the issue was coming from the cylinder which was split and leaking. When this is the case the unit cannot be fully repaired as it is deemed beyond economical repair. Therefore, it has to be replaced instead. Luckily, the engineer was able to complete a temporary fix until the new boiler could be fitted.
Mrs W decided that she would like a Fabdec ThermaCoil as her replacement instead of the PulsaCoil PCS. The ThermaCoil is the replacement option that we would recommend. This is because the ThermaCoil is a far less complicated system. It runs off of a single mechanical blending valve while the PulsaCoil contains many more parts to it. This includes; a Printed Circuit Board, Pump, Sensors and Relays. Although for the user of the system it is not very different with regards to long term maintenance it is much simpler.
The installation was carried out in under four hours and the old unit was removed and ethically disposed of.
The new ThermaCoil comes with a 10 Year Manufacturers cylinder warranty, for further details visit www.thermacoil.co.uk
