Miss L first called The Plumbing Group when she realised her PulsaCoil 2000 was no longer heating up as it should be.Our engineers headed out to the flat to check over the boiler. They quickly found that the unit had a split cylinder. When this happens the unit is deemed beyond economical repair and therefore has to be replaced instead. In order to keep things running until the new unit was fitted, the engineers did manage to do a temporary fix.

Miss L decided to have the Fabdec ThermaCoil as her replacement instead of the new PulsaCoil PCS. The ThermaCoil runs off of a single mechanical blending valve while the PulsaCoil has many more parts to it. This includes a Printed Circuit Board, Pump, Sensors and Relays. As a result, the ThermaCoil is a far less complicated system, especially in terms of long term maintenance.

Our engineers removed and disposed of the old unit correctly and then proceeded to install the new one. They showed Miss L how to maintain her unit for future reference once the job was complete. In total, the installation was finished within four hours.

Miss L was very happy with her new unit and with her overall experience with The Plumbing Group.

I opted for a fixed price and was dubious spending that much but, it turned out I had a few issues with my Pulsacoil A-class which would of cost over the fixed price repair. All was completed in a timely manner, and my boiler is working fine again. Would use this company again ! Thank you.
